Worth & Company and CAM Construction Company Capture Projects of the Year
On Thursday night, October 10th, ABC Greater Baltimore was host to the annual and highly anticipated Excellence in Construction Awards Ceremony.
The electrifying atmosphere of the Hall at Maryland LIVE! Casino only added to the excitement, as more than 400 construction professionals, their clients, architects, and engineers were in attendance.
The Excellence in Construction Program is the premier competition within the region that recognizes outstanding projects of ABC members. These top-notch members were awarded in the categories of Gold Excellence, Platinum Excellence & the most distinguished honor – Diamond Excellence.
Hosting the event was former anchor of Fox 45 Morning News, Jennifer Gladstone, who has spearheaded the ceremony five times in the past. Jennifer and other regionally recognized professionals handed out awards for building and renovating schools, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, hospitals and more – and to the members who, by doing so, have enhanced the lives of countless people in our community.
Also presented were the 2024 Model Member of the Year Award and the Members Using Members Award.
Ariosa & Company won the Model Member of the Year Award for contributing to the highest level during the year to support ABC and advance the best interests of the industry.
Turner Construction Company won the ‘Members Using Members’ award for utilizing the most ABC-affiliated subcontractors and suppliers on the job, with over 40 ABC members on their sub list.
The two most prestigious awards capped off the evening. Project of the Year: Specialty Contractor went to Worth & Company for Great Wolf Lodge Hotel & Waterpark. And Project of the Year: General Contractor was awarded to CAM Construction Company, for St. Joseph Parish
There was fun, food, a lot of networking, and maybe even a walk to the casino during this year’s Excellence in Construction Program at Maryland LIVE!
