It was 25 years ago when Tom Hirsch and his brother founded Hirsch Electric. At the time, they dreamed they would one day grow to more than 50 employees. Despite challenges along the way, like 9/11 and the ‘Great Recession’, they persevered. Today, they have surpassed their goal and employ several hundred people.
At the time of Tom’s retirement, the Hirsch Electric ownership team decided they wanted to maintain one of their core values in continuing to support local charities by establishing the Hirsch Family Foundation.
The Hirsch Family Foundation supports various local charities, focusing on children, the elderly without family support, and addiction recovery. Recently, they sponsored the Bright FM Pantry Project in Baltimore, featured on 95.1 Shine FM.
The Hirsch Family takes immense pride in Hirsch Electric’s accomplishments, especially the lasting impact of their annual charitable contributions. ABC is proud to recognize Hirsch Electric as a shining example of a company that truly cares!
