The Women in ABC awarded one main scholarship and two runner-up scholarships to three deserving young women looking to enter the construction industry. The premiere winner, Arielle Wickstrom (above left) is currently an intern with Harkins Builders and is also enrolled in Howard Community College in the construction management program. Arielle’s goal for her future is to return to school and receive a business degree in the hopes of eventually owning her own business renovating homes in Baltimore City.
The runners-up were Hailey Brennan (above right), a senior at Dulaney High School. Hailey will be attending University of Maryland and majoring in mechanical engineering and Maya Mule, a senior at Atholton High School who will be attending Savannah College of Art & Design in the fall, majoring in architecture.
