We are pleased to announce the addition of Ambre Schaffer to the ABC Greater Baltimore Team as our new Membership Director!
Ambre Schaffer is a seasoned leader with two decades of experience in the Heavy Civil Construction industry. As a dedicated and award-winning advocate for the construction workforce, Ambre has built her career at the intersection of operations, marketing, and business development, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Ambre serves as the President of NAWIC Baltimore, now in her second consecutive term, where she’s grown chapter membership from just 12 to over 100 members, earning recognition as the largest in the region and one of the fastest-growing chapters nationally. Her tenure included the creation of impactful initiatives like the “WIC Rock” fundraiser in partnership with ABC’s LOGIC, aimed at supporting women in construction and workforce development.
Ambre’s deep connection to the construction industry is rooted in her family history. Growing up in a lineage of dispatchers, operators, and engineers—many of them women—Ambre learned to appreciate the grit and resilience of the blue-collar industry from an early age. These values were further shaped by her early career experiences, including working for a tunneling contractor and later marrying into a family equally dedicated to earthmoving.
As she steps into her new role as Membership Director for ABC Greater Baltimore, Ambre brings her expertise in community engagement, event coordination, and membership growth to the management team. Her passion for championing the individuals and families who build the foundation of our communities drives her commitment to strengthening ABC’s mission and supporting the construction industry for generations to come.
