ABC Greater Baltimore’s groundbreaking ceremony for our Construction Education Academy will be held Monday, January 13th at 10 am. We will be moving into our new facility in Spring of 2020 and we could not be more excited to share this journey with everyone. Our work with Project Jumpstart and their partnership with the Job Opportunities Task Force has led us to the creation of the Construction Education Academy.
The Construction Education Academy is currently being built in Baltimore City. This facility will present multiple classrooms and interactive labs for our training courses. Although the buildings outer “shell” has already been built, this “groundbreaking” ceremony symbolizes the beginning of building a greater Baltimore. This state-of-the-art training facility will assist in developing the future generation of construction employees and build tomorrow’s workforce.
This year’s Build Baltimore Gala, is a fundraiser for our Construction Education Academy and will be held February 22, 2020. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are currently for sale. There will be music, dancing, good food and drinks, and must-hear stories from ‘Craft Training Heroes’.
