The four Maryland Chapters of Associated Builders and Contractors [Baltimore Metro, Chesapeake Shores, Cumberland Valley and Metro Washington], endorse and support the re-election of Governor Larry Hogan for a second term.

Collectively, the four Maryland ABC Chapters represent more than 1,400 companies throughout the state engaged in the construction industry.

During his first term, Governor Hogan successfully enacted pro-growth, pro-business policies that have boosted Maryland’s economy, resulting in an increase in jobs, expansion of the tax base, and a reduction in the fees and regulations that had made it difficult for businesses to successfully operate in the State.

ABC Baltimore president, Mike Henderson, said, “we are also grateful for the Governor’s ongoing commitment to job training and workforce development initiatives which will prepare Maryland residents for career opportunities in the construction industry.”

In receiving the ABC endorsement, Governor Hogan stated “I am honored to receive the endorsement from the Maryland Chapters of Associated Builders and Contractors.  “This is an organization that is committed to growing Maryland businesses, creating jobs, and training a skilled workforce through their apprenticeship programs.  These are issues I’ve spent the last four years focused on, and I am eager to continue working with ABC in my second term as Governor.”
