ABC Baltimore member Allan Myers was selected ENR MidAtlantic’s 2017 Contractor of the Year. The fourth-generation, family-owned business has been an ABC member for 11 years. As a company operating in the MidAtlantic region for many years, Allan Myers has seen its greatest success as of late, having been were awarded its biggest project yet. The project is a $2.3 billion transformation of I-66 in Northern Virginia.
Allan Myers can attribute some of its success to vertical integration, allowing them to excel in operations and supply chain management. The firm produces materials at its quarries and asphalt plants for use in its own projects to maximize efficiencies and minimize costs.
Other recent notable projects of Allan Myers include an I-64 Segment II Design-Build as well as a massive runway paving project at BWI Airport.
