May Marks 50 Year Anniversary of Lewis Contractors as ABC Baltimore Member

On May 2, 1967, Lewis Contractors joined ABC Baltimore. Over the past 50 years, Lewis and ABC has shared a rich partnership.

Lewis’s team has been involved with the ABC Baltimore chapter by participating on committees, judging projects for the Excellence in Awards, attending networking events, and serving on the Board of Directors.

The general contractor based in Owings Mills, Md., has won several awards from ABC for its work around the state. In ABC’s 2017 Excellence in Construction Awards, Lewis was awarded for its work on Catonsville Elementary School at Bloomsbury Renovation/Addition, the Charles Carroll House Portico Restoration, the Maryland School for the Blind Autism/Blind project and Archbishop Curley High School’s Athletic Turf Field project.

The family-owned general contractor’s restoration of the Baltimore Washington Monument received the ‘2016 Eagle Award’ by ABC National, dubbing the project one of the country’s best construction projects.

Lewis was also awarded by ABC with the STEP Platinum Award, which recognizes company’s safety training and evaluation process, for 7 consecutive years.
