ABC Members’ safety and health are our #1 priority
We know you have been inundated with information on the coronavirus, so we realize we are not passing along anything new to you. That said, this is probably one area where too much information is probably a good thing.
There has been a steady increase in the amount of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the United States, as you probably are aware. Our members’ health and safety is and will continue to be our top priority as this epidemic develops. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention stated that much of the nation has little immediate risk of exposure but still offer several informational resources. This includes information on symptoms, prevention, treatment, and situation updates in the U.S. (see below):
Visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website for more information on the coronavirus, including the resources below:
- Prevention and Treatment
- Information for Travel
- Guidance for Businesses and Employers
- Frequently Asked Questions
- Latest News Updates
- Communication Resources
Visit the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s website for interim guidance on preventing exposures and infection:
- Overview of Coronavirus
- Key OSHA Standards for COVID-19 (see section on recording workplace exposures to COVID-19)
Again, the safety and health of our members is very important to use, and we want to share any useful information we have on the issue.
